Community Initiatives
We engage in intentional outreach within priority communities via a network of diverse partner organizations. We use equity-centered strategies and a tailored outreach approach for each partner and their communities.
Technical Assistance & Capacity-Building Pilot
Access Clean California led a technical assistance and capacity-building pilot in 2021-2022, partnering with six local organizations to do clean transportation outreach in hard-to-reach communities across the state, while helping them access funding and other resources to support their growth. Equity Partnership Work
We strive to amplify the voices of communities and to make clean transportation and renewable energy infrastructure more equitable. In 2022, ClimatePlan conducted research on just that. With the help of our partners, they coordinated 15 expert interviews and roundtable discussions with community-based and state-advocacy organizations. Together, they identified existing barriers and outlined recommendations for state agency improvement on Zero-Emission Vehicle deployment.
