
Clean Energy Programs
California has programs across the state to assist low- to moderate-income residents with making the transition to clean energy. These programs provide financial assistance to purchase electric vehicles, install solar panels, and much more. Access Clean California currently partners with many of these programs to help residents navigate and apply for these benefits. We also help determine additional programs you may be eligible for and can apply for on your own.
Partner Programs
Access Clean California partners with many of the largest state and regional clean transportation and energy programs to make sure you get all the benefits you qualify for. These programs are supported by California state funds to reduce air pollution. Ava Bike Electric
Ava Bike Electric is an incentive program that aims to increase access to e-bikes, reduce carbon emissions, and support local businesses.

CCCE Electric Vehicle Incentive Program
Central Coast Community Energy (CCCE) customers get up to $400 - 4,000 back on the purchase or lease of a new or used (8 years old or newer) all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, charging equipment installation, EV-related electrical upgrades, or an e-bike.

Clean Cars 4 All - Bay Area
Bay Area residents can get up to $12,000 to replace an old gas car with a new or used plug-in hybrid or battery electric.

Clean Cars 4 All - Sac Metro
Sacramento area residents can get up to $9,500 to replace an old car (car must be 15 years or older, must have been registered for at least the past 2 years, and must have a CA title) with a new or used electric or hybrid vehicle.
Clean Cars 4 All - San Diego
San Diego residents can receive up to $12,000 to replace an old car (car must be 2009 model or older, must be under your name, must have been operated in CA for the last 2 years, and must be under 10,000 pounds) with a new or used electric or hybrid vehicle.

Drive Clean in the San Joaquin
Income-eligible residents of San Joaquin Valley counties can get up to $10,000 to replace an old car (car must be 17 years or older) with a new or used electric or hybrid vehicle.

Driving Clean Assistance Program - CC4A Scrap and Replace
For individuals without a vehicle to scrap DCAP is closed to all applicants except those that reside in a disadvantaged (DAC) or low income community (LIC) as defined by the California Climate Investments Priority Populations Mapping Tool 4.

Driving Clean Assistance Program - Financing Assistance
California residents can receive support from a trusted loan partner through the Driving Clean Assistance Program.

Energy for All Program
Homeowners can get a no-cost solar electric system to power their home and electric vehicle.

EV Charging Rebate Program (LADWP)
All LADWP residential power account holders may receive rebates up to $1,000 on the purchase and installation of a qualified home EV charger.

MCE EV Instant Rebate
Eligible MCE customers can get an instant rebate for the purchase or lease of a qualifying electric vehicle at participating dealerships.

Our Community Car Share
Residents of select Sacramento communities get free access to a fleet of shared all-electric vehicles for local travel.

Peninsula Clean Energy Used EV Rebate Program
San Mateo County residents can receive up to $2,000 toward the purchase of a used all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.

PG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate
Standard Option: California residents can submit an application to receive a $1,000 rebate after purchasing or leasing a pre-owned EV.

PG&E Residential EV Charging Program

Replace Your Ride
Residents of select areas in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange counties can get up to $12,000 to replace an old car with a new or used electric or hybrid vehicle, or public transit vouchers.

San Joaquin Valley Air District - Rebate
The San Joaquin Valley Air District Rebate Program funds have been exhausted as of December 22, 2023 and the program is now closed.

Southern California Edison Pre-Owned EV Rebate
Southern California Edison (SCE) customers can get money back when they buy or lease a used all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.
