PG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate

Standard Option: California residents can submit an application to receive a $1,000 rebate after purchasing or leasing a pre-owned EV.

The application must be submitted within 180 days post-purchase. Rebate Plus Option: California residents who are income-qualified can receive a total rebate of $4,000 after purchasing or leasing a pre-owned EV. Application must be submitted within 180 days post-purchase. Please be aware that funding from this program is taxable income. All participants receiving benefits of $600 or more will receive a 1099-G form the first quarter of the following calendar year to file with the IRS. This program will open soon.Please be aware that applicants may only apply to one Option. For instance, if an applicant receives a rebate for the Standard Option, they cannot apply again later to receive the Rebate Plus option, nor to receive the difference between the Standard Option and the Rebate Plus Option, regardless of income qualifications at the time of (or after) the original application.
